More often then not, this is due to a problem with your mail server
bouncing back idm-mail to me marked "undeliverable". As this is a fairly
active list, often times people using "free mail" accounts or "aol" or any
other ISP which enforces strict mail quotas, when a user exceeds their
quota, the mail server barfs the IDM mail back to me. I will tolerate
exceeded mail quotas and other mailer anomalies for about 1 hour before I
pipe the bounced mail off to a script which auto-unsubscribed the
offending email.

It's nothing personal, just how things are run around here.

I'll add some verbiage into the idm-info to de-mystify this occurance, as
it happens at least once a week.

In a related area, I would like to remind any subscribers who have their
email acces through university or school, and who will not be able to
access their email during the impending summer, to please remember to
unsubscribe from any mailing lists before taking off.
