I know this has bunk to do with IDM, but I saw it with a bunch of IDMers
and we all loved it.

Tired of the same old hollywood forumula of moviemaking? Well take
that $6.50 of yours you saved for Waterboy and go see the new Hype
William's directed movie, "Belly." I think it's one of the most
entertaining and visually stimulating movies I've seen in awhile. In the
tradition of films likes A Clockwork Orange, Blade Runner, Trainspotting,
and Lost Highway, William's creates a unique aesthetic all his own that
makes all other films look half-asleep. If you watch MTV at all, then
I'm sure you're familiar with his work (Busta Rhymes, Will Smith, etc.)
The story is comparable to Scorcese's "Mean Streets" or it can be
thought of as a modern-day "Scarface." The film has already been banned
by a couple movie theater outlets (fear of in-theater violence), but I'm
sure if I found it in Waco, you guys can find it somewhwere. Although
the basic story is nothing we haven't seen before, there are enough
twists and turns to give the plot a good recommendation as well. Plus
you've got Method Man in there, you can't go wrong.
