What is the current rating for the 9VAC adaptor?

It=E2=80=99s easy enough to solder a 3mm jack to a 9VAC adaptor, but if =
it can=E2=80=99t handle the current draw of an HR16 then you=E2=80=99ll =
have troubles. It=E2=80=99s fine to be overrated, although that will =
probably cost more, but you can=E2=80=99t go below.

Also, with AC adaptors, there=E2=80=99s often a wide range in actual =
voltage versus measured voltage. Not sure what to do about that unless =
someone has an HR16 supply they can measure with a known (Fluke 87 RMS) =
meter.

It's got one of those hard-to-find 9VAC adapters with the 3mm (1/8") =
audio-style connector. Before I order one online (and hope it's what it =
claims to be), anyone have an extra they don't need any more and want to =
sell?
