I was always of a disposition to Rush such that when a song came on the local "rock" radio station here in Baltimore, I'd run for the hills, scared shitless by that wailing Canadian. Then a friend started forcing me to listen to "Hemispheres" over and over again on car rides; naturally, my vehemence was dulled by the repetition. Soon, I looked forward to 3/4 ballads with pre-choruses in 26/5 time. I admired political allegories played out by woodland denizens. And I joined my flannel-wearing trucker friends in singing along to those fine Canadians. --Geoff "There is trouble In the forest..."
