But even when the software will be fully hardware accessible, headless probably won't get you far on VCV, due to its lack of ergonomic consistency. It is very much a control by sight system, where every module seems to have some unique way of dealing with some parameter, and each knob has a different scaling. There already are hundreds of modules coded to different standards by different authors, and the absence of physical constraints means it is a much, much worse mess than any vendor-mixed Eurorack.
