I just did the exact same thing on my Six Trak. It is also built with those littly squishy button strips. ... and I had to do it twice. What a crappy job! Its nice to know that replacements are available if cleaning does not do it. Have heard of a few people painting fresh conductive material on the business side of the buttons. Like this: http://www.oaktreevintage.com/parts/keyboard/korg_key_contact_repair_re-coat-kit.htm And here are new strips: http://shop.lasynthco.com/product/key-contacts-for-korg-poly-oberheim-sequential-prophet-600-kawai-and-others On 12.08.18 01:42 , James Meagher wrote: > > A few keys on my Polysix were double triggering, (or sporadically not > triggering), so I took apart the keyboard, removed all the keys and the > rubber contact strips, cleaned everything and put it back together, and now > all the keys work beautifully, except the second lowest E through B don’t > work at all (E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A# and B).
