> Speaking of commercials: I saw the ad for some perfume with "It's oh > so quiet", not the > Bjork version but a cheap copy of it. Maybe not a cheap copied version of it but the original by Shirly Bassy or some other annoying little American heroin. > Well, at least Sony will never be stupid enough to use an Autechre > track to sale MiniDisc > players... But the BBC do use Autechre tracks to advertise their programs. There is nothing wrong with this, I love Autechre and don't mind seeing an increasing number of IDM tracks used in advertising. So long as the music is still good and remains *IDM*. I don't think the Nike CD was Endtroducing or anything like it but the fact that it had Nike ramblings on it doesn't put it straight in the bargain bin at Woolworth's. I thought the CD was good and I can still listen to it which is more than I can say for It's Oh So Quiet! Signing out, C.
