Fehlmann was chums w/Paterson from his early days as A&R man (Paterson) 
for Editions EG. His shadowy contributions to the Orb's heritage start 
way back at U.F. Orb (check the credits). They were just more overt on 
the Kompakt tracks. For the record, I like the Orb's output from day one.
On another note,  I'll be presenting another aspect of 
Detroit/Berlin/English/Jamaican collaboration  next month with a 3-part 
radio special on KFJC re. Moritz Von Oswald and his entanglements - he 
also figures in here, though on a different tangent.
