Anthony Rother: Sex With The Machines Kanzelrami KAAR 1 CD All tracks written and produced by Anthony Rother. This CD is classic, spacey, Kraftwerkian electro. It could have been made 10 years ago, or this month. There are some innovative bits throughout, but these are outweighed IN A GOOD WAY by the wonderfully cheesey electro melodies. The sound clarity is exceptional. Included for your electro pleasure, you'll find plenty of the ol' robotic voice; human monotonic utterances and pronouncements like "in the future they will be automatics" (yawn); as well as occasional telephone keypad use. The first song is this sort of soaring electro opera at the start that just makes me kick back and smile :-) If only I could breakdance... Jim
