welcome to the spring edition of the carpark family newsletter!=20 =20 below you will find out what's up with the carpark, acute, and paw-tracks= label =20 new releases for acute and paw-tracks june 17th is the official release date for the animal collective "here comes the indian" cd/lp (paw tracks) and glenn branca "the ascension" cd (acute). check out <http://www.carparkrecords.com/indian.html>www.carparkrecords.com/indian.htm l and <http://www.carparkrecords.com/branca.html>www.carparkrecords.com/branca.htm l for more info. =20 paw-tracks/animal collective happenings the animal collective will be very busy this spring. in addition to their paw-tracks debut, they have also just released the campfire songs cd on catsup plate. check out <http://www.catsupplate.com>www.catsupplate.com for more info. avey tare and panda bear from the animal collective are flying over to europe at the end of this month for shows in the UK, belgium and france. the dates are listed at the end of this newsletter. =20 avey tare and panda bear and greg davis played at the macrock festival in harrisonburg virginia this past weekend. unfortunately there was a last minute venue change and the animal collective ended up playing to fans of a popular virginia group called the modern groove syndicate. that in combination with the fire marshall showing up unleashed a series of events that ended in the sound man telling the animal collective to stop playing.
