RE: (idm) Help: Scratched CD's...

Evolution Control Committee, a great group that smacked a Public Enemy vocal
track on top of a Herb Alpert instrumental, has released a book (sheets in a
3 ring binder) that catalogs manipulated CD experiments. It has various
photos of "detourned" CDs, explanations of the modifications and
descriptions of the sounds. It may have come with a CD of the sounds but I
can't remember. A friend of mine that runs a record/book shop had it so you
can probably track it down. Should inspire many nights of plunderphonic
buffonery.
