My Polysix just went wonky. The tuning is about a semitone flat and the bank lights are all lit up. I had replaced and repaired the Varta battery damage 10 years ago and then (stupidly?) put in another Varta. Now I have it ripped open and I cannot see any leakage. I am going to change out the battery for a CR2032 in a carrier (with diode charge protection). Looking for advice: Does a low battery level cause flakiness like what I am seeing? Anyone have any experience with this? It looks like I have no acid damage. I was just about to hit record and then this... sigh...
