He seems to pack quite a sense of humour into his tracks - they're certainly fun. About Anokha : hmmm, imo it's a bit sort of icky sweet consumer- friendly. Best track comes from Kingsuk Biswas which closes the set on a rousing crazy instrumental (lots of vox throughout the rest of the album). If you're interested in this direction, give Talvin Singh's new solo "OK" a spin : more Indian in the classical sense and a little more serene altogether. Sony also brought out a comp. round about '96-7 titled Eastern Uprising : Dance Music from the Asian Underground. I'd recommend this above Anokha. I *
