This post is aimed for Kelley since I know your searching for the lush funky Detroit stuff lately, but the music I have come across recently is so darn good I have to share it with everyone. Maybe some of you know about the label Obliq Recordings, maybe I'm just clueless for not knowing about them but I just got ahold of there various artists comp from last year and it's juicy. Nate who runs the label as well is a super cool guy who I got to perform with last night. Anyway if you are a fan of B12, Stasis, Russ Gabriel, older Carl Craig, the Objets d'art comps or any of that somber and rich Detroit style techo you must check out this release. Plus the new stuff Nate was playing last night was top notch.
