around .'85  i recall seeing an ad in forced exposure or some mag like that
for a Peach Of Immortality album called "R.E.M. is Air Supply", and the copy
read like the Drop Beat ad...

     "Fuck (something, forget what...maybe 'pop'? dunno).  R.E.M. is Air
Supply"


        i thought it was funny anyway...
