Download is not unlike the Skinny Puppy sound, with similar structures,
but moved a good distance toward techno/IDM. The new one has more of a
techno/IDM sound than previous Download releases. Significant features of
the sound are quick changes, interruptions, rhythms skewed to various
degrees, multiple layers and different things flying at you relatively
quickly.

(Steve: more than one person has mentioned to me that the _Shifting
Frame..._ tracks on the DAT [completed before Download's 1st I should
mention], are similar to Download as far as -what- they do but not -how-.)
