Right, all those things work fine when the device you are connecting =
them to is a host (has a type A connector).  The MatrixBrute behaves as =
a device so it is more like the keyboard controller than the MPC in your =
situation.

t think it will provide power for a lamp.  You would likely want =
something providing a Type A connector.  The port on the MatrixBrute is =
a Type B.
