I have the MOTU896HD, and it supports the Mackie MCU Pro as a control = surface. You should be able to control basic level, pan, and mute from = the MOTU mixer using the MCU Pro. It=E2=80=99s a great way to get things = under your fingers without adding a bunch of wires and analog noise = sources. I assume that the 828 supports this as well, and it might even = have effects that were added after the 896HD (mk1) came out.
