i just noticed that somebody uploaded gescom - minidisc to
the bleepbloop ftp site. the location of bleepbloop is:
poly.syncopated.net
login/password: bleep/bloop
i downloaded the .mp3s, converted them to .wavs, and burned
a CD with the tracks in random order (without gaps) and the
CD sounds just like the actual minidisc on shuffle mode! i
suspect that if one burned a CD with the tracks in
sequential order, it would *not* sound like the minidisc on
normal mode; there would probably be some minor breaks in
sound as track indexes rolled over. nevertheless, you
should check out the .mp3s, especially if you have no
minidisc player. except for you, <xxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx>;
you probably wouldn't like the music anyway.
