(idm) Pi takes the cake

Saw Pi last night and I highly recommend it to everyone on the list.
The director deserved his price for direction at Cannes Film Festival.
It really like the contrast of the grainy black and white, with the
futuristic soundtrack. I thought the Clint Massell cameo was funny too.
I think Clint did a great job on the soundtrack and would recommend
it as well. It's similar to what Reznor did on the Lost Highway disc
(dialogue and film score mixed in). The roni size track is also a very
cool newer version with snippets of Portishead included. I do have to
agree with the criticism on the purity thing at the end of the film, but
everything else was really cool. The funniest thing happened after the
movie. During the credits, an old couple behind were saying "Oh, my. We
must find this soundtrack!" Me and my buds couldn't stop laughing.

ario.
