Haven't run into this myself, but got the latest negativland mailing the 
other day regarding this... its pretty frightening to think that this is 
occurring and it seems all too relavent to the music we listen to...

No offensive, but (I know you're out there!) do the Ninja's pay for all those
samples? Its pretty scary thinking that DJ <insert name here>'s next
record might not be what it had been intended to because of something
like this...

Also, I've read bits where Nothing (in regards to Coil, but probably Vibert's
material, and possibly more) have been nothing but struggle trying to get
stuff cleared. I recall some bit where the Coil that will be re-released by
Nothing will not be the same because of editting due to samples... I've
no actual facts to back it up, but what if something like that was true?

Nothing like the land of the free, huh?

(hehehehe... realize that people should get paid for their work, but the
RIAA and pressing plants not pressing material due to pressure seems
extremely... extreme...)
