Probably given that it's spoken word, 22khz mono 16 bit would be plenty good enough, either WAV(PC Standard) or AIFF(Mac Standard). I would mention that if anyone was thinking of using Dr. Suess samples in a commercial track they should think twice. Dr. Suess' Estate guards his works very jealously -- I doubt you could obtain clearance for his words. You would also have to get clearance from both the company that owns the rights to the recording, and the person whose voice appears on the recording.
