Damn, thank you for this tip.  In the 90's, I had a CZ-1, and the whole
time, having heard back then that it was the best of the Casio pro
synths, I neglected to check out any of their other stuff, including the
samplers.

Well, looks like the FZ-1 is amazing.  It does share some sonic
characteristics with the CZ's though -- somehow sounding harsh and
digital while warm fuzzy and characterful at the same time.  It's almost
confusing to the ears to hear something that's so digital and analog
sounding simultaneously.  I will definitely be getting an FZ series
sampler when I can (especially at these prices...cheap!), one of the
rackmount ones if possible.  I'm also checking out the VZ-1/10M now too.
Didn't know the CZ-1 had a rackmount sequel.
