If you modulate two delay pedals with two sine waves that have matching frequency & amplitude and are out of phase from 20 to 70 degrees, this will give you a lot of the H3000 magic. 2 delays, single audio input, stereo output. The microphone is quite important too. It must have the characteristics that are required. ie) the frequencies you need. If its talking voice with a little crunch then I like to use a Telco carbon microphone. Here are schematics to build one: http://beatkamp.com/telemicrophone.shtml A reverb that has the frequee sound that works for your music is a must. Spring are great for random events, I love the Dynacord VRS-23 BBD reverb, the AMS rack sounds so nice it can cause bladder leakage. The EH V256 Vocoder pedal is fantastic. It sounds nearly the same as my rack EH, just much more stable. (this is both good & bad) I wish that I had acquired the Doepfer Vocoder assemblage when it was available. Never tried it out but it looked such that one could stick anything into anything else. ps: or just Moog 16 Channel Vocoder, a Neumann and an H3000 ;) On 06.08.18 14:06 , Patrick Dohman wrote: > > What are the secret weapons of analog vocal processing & synthesis? > > Eventide - H3000 > > Mixer with a Big Muff or other classic guitar pedal. > > Moog 16 channel vocoder > > What else... > > Later > Patrick >
