Funny, I had the same attitude not to long after all the reprezents
stuff came out. The first mistake I made was buying the 3xLP on the
hopes that the one track I had heard and loved would be on it. It
wasn't, and at that point I realized that the the LP was pretty dry.

I've since the picked up all the singles, collecting some decent remixes
like Grooveriders jeep mix of 'share the fall', the takamaura remix of
BPB or Optical's mix of 'Watching Windows'.

I made the mistake of dissing Roni Size to a friend (who's also a uk
engineer/producer) and he said, 'what about V? What about Dope Dragon'
and named off a few dozen tracks I've dropped and loved over the years.

The conversation that followed made me realize that it wasn't so much
Roni Size or the music so much as the hype being generated over the
Reprezents project.

I also decided that this is a pretty silly thing to get upset about.

So it's not the most challenging music.

So it's getting blown out of proportion.

Big deal...It's not enough to hate someone over.

Roni Size is still a pioneer and has done some great shit.

peaceout,

brockout.
