There was a short D.A.F. interview in the last issue of The Wire (Bjork cover). It mentioned something about re-working old material for a new release (I think). >Irene: Mr. Gorl actually did his new Sexdrops album on Disko B with Karl >O'Connor (records as Regis; owns the Birmingham based Downwards label) in >Karl's studio and it's still got that Gorl sexiness to it, but it's more >tracky techno, not housey. (don't want anybody buying it expecting to hear >house!) Gorl has done a few solo 12's for Disko B in the past and you can >tell Karl had a good hand in helping Mr. Gorl out on the album ;) Andrew >PS Don't know what Gabi is up to (remember "me and Gabbi are brothers/we >play like brothers do"? Listen to George Michael's "I Want Your Sex" and >you can definitely tell he's listened to some DAF in his youth!) > >Irene McC wrote: > >> On 17 Nov 98, Mark Hadley wrote re: (idm) DAF on Mixing It: >> >> > there's an interview with DAF on the program, thought some >> > people may be interested. >> >> Indeed indeed - pity I can't tune in.
