Re: (idm) modulations film showing in SF 5/6

I saw this when it was playing here at the Cleveland film festival, not
a bad movie. The way it was advertised, you'd think it was a movie on
the history of electronic music. Well it's not. It starts out with the
forefathers of today's electronic music then veers into an exploration
of modern dance culture. Most of the interviews are quite entertaining
though. Tom Jenkinson (squarepusher) was particularly entertaining.

To sum it up, if you're interested in the whole electronic/rave scene
by all means see this movie. It's got a slammin soundtrack as well.
