my opinion - very, very static drone-noise stuff.  very little tonal 
variation, with the difference in texture mainly being supplied by the 
amount of distortion present.  kind of monotonous (which is no doubt the 
point, given nagoski's status as chosen disciple of la monte), but it's nice 
in it's way.  works well in a "experimental-wank DJ" context, on my show at 
least.  i dunno if it's "syrupy," exactly (that would apply more to 
southerning's recent CD) - more like having alvin lucier's "music on a long 
thin wire" installation running through your skull, engaging in a painful 
frottage with your eardrums and pineal gland.
