We were recently asked to play a live set on New Year's Eve, and initially
I thought it was a cool idea, but I've since decided to turn down the
offer just because I would like to keep my options open in case there's
some place I'd rather be, like barracaded at home with 2 weeks' supply of
food and water or just hanging out with friends. Tough decision though.. I
think it would have been interesting to put together an hour of music with
the thought in mind that this is the first thing these people will hear in
2000.
