Can confirm Pi1541 works 100% on SP12. It's a brilliant piece of = engineering/programming wizardry.=20 There's a thread on gearslutz about it: = https://www.gearslutz.com/board/electronic-music-instruments-and-electroni= c-music-production/1049320-emu-sp-12-emxp-2.html Never tried EMXP but that surely works fine too according to all = accounts. Not sure which is faster though as they both run at 1980s baud = rates. > On 20 Apr 2019, at 22:41, David Bivins <xxxxxxxx@xxxxx.xxx> wrote: >=20 > Hi all, >=20 > I used to have a 1541 drive for my SP-12, which was fine. There is the Water's Edge Software librarian = which attracts me, but I'd have to invest in a vintage Mac for it. >=20 > Is there a replacement storage option as there is for the Emulator II? > Is there a way to trick the Water's Edge librarian to work in a = virtual machine?=20 > Is saving WAV files to my Mac as if it's a cassette recorder = practical? The wait isn't that much of an issue.
