slag me if you wish...I like this song an awful lot...

saw Tortoise last night for the second time...much tighter than when I saw
them last year, but I didn't like the song selection nearly as much as the
last tour...no Djed, no Vaus, no The Equator, etc...most of the songs they
played from TNT came off much better in a live context than they did on the
album...bought the new single...only got a chance to listen once...the beats
are pretty beat boxish and the b-side is a remix of the a-side...I'll give a
full review once it sinks in...and I get to see them perform again tomorrow
night...

as for oval...it just doesn't translate live...I even consider myself an oval
fan, but I found myself getting anxious...the visuals repeated at least 10x so
they were no help either...

also just got the new metic on schematic and push button objects and
funkstorung on chocolate industries...my first full reviews of these are
pending...kicking myself for not discovering these labels sooner...if anyone
has older releases on schematic and cocolate industries to sell me, please get
in touch

has there been any confirmation either way to the Kraftwerk/Autechre/LFO show
in NYC?
