I=E2=80=99m looking to grab a beatbox/groovebox to compose with while travel= ling, but I keep reading specs and thinking the available options won=E2=80=99= t work for me - perhaps I=E2=80=99m missing something. I=E2=80=99ve started b= y looking at the various Electribe options (love the form factor of the Elec= tribe 2), old Yamaha stuff (RM1X), etc. . . .=20 I generally compose drum phrases that simultaneously use 8-12 kick sounds, 8= -ish snare sounds, 3 or 4 clap sounds, and around 8 other various perc sound= s (hats, cymbals, toms, etc.), in 8-16 bar phrases. Am I out to lunch to thi= nk that there might be something portable out there that can accommodate my n= eeds (that isn=E2=80=99t a laptop)? I see that a Machinedrum has 16 voices (= tracks?), so that=E2=80=99s at least halfway there! :P I don=E2=80=99t care i= f it=E2=80=99s digital or analogue. Thoughts? Cheers, (beatbox/groovebox virgin), James Sent from my iPhone=
