umm... i was totally embarrassed for the guy.  
his gear was a guitar, a tape player, some effects
rack and a tiny Boss Dr. Rhythm.  i don't mean
to slag him:  i'm sure he's a fine guy, and if he
produced futureworld, then he's got quite a bit
of talent in that department, but his set... uhh...

it was so weird.  surprising, yes.  but 
probably not in the way you'd think of when someone
says, "man, that guy makes surprised me!"

sorry i can't be more descriptive... the only 
phrase i can think of for what he was doing is
"rocking out."
