Your conscience/sense-of-aesthetics would let you do that? If so, then
you mustn't forget "faithfully." ;)

Moving right along, here are some other suggestions for the ultimate
chick's-movie soundtrack.

Cocteau Twins - again, pretty much anything, but especially the Love's
Easy Tears EP, Blue Bell Knoll (esp. "a kissed out red floatboat") and the
instrumental version of "Half-Gifts" (on Twinlights).
Vangelis - "Five Circles" (from the Chariots of Fire soundtrack; also
check out that twenty-minute final track simply titled "Chariots of Fire,"
esp. toward the end).
    R.H. Kirk - "Lagoon West"
The Cure - "untitled" (the one at the end of Disintegration)
Autechre's "vletrmx21" has already been mentioned at least twice
already, but I'll mention it again, 'cause it evokes by far the most sadness
(to me anyway) of any IDM work I've ever heard.
...and finally, Aphex Twin - "Milkman" a heartfelt story of broken
promises and infinite longing (imagine this one popping up in the middle of
a "sad" mix tape) "I would like some milk from the milkman's wife's tits"
... *sniff* gets ya right there doesn't it. I-I'm sorry, I *choke* I can't
go on...
