To me, this full length has more of a 93-95 Degiorgio sound to it. . Jamie Read: The End of the Beginning 3x12"/CD (Fragmented) Twelve tracks of beautifully melodic housey techno from the man also known as Wookie and Larry Heard Appreciation Society (LHAS). What's most impressive about this release is the complexity of the tracks. These tracks have exquisitely intricate melodies and percussion in much the same manner as Ian O'Brien's "Desert Scores" although not as experimental. Fans of Mr. Fingers, Glen Underground, Ian O'Brien or May/Craig would really enjoy this full-length. I certainly do. Are Jamie's Wookie, LHAS or Ugly Cutz releases as good as this release? 10/10 The fragmented label is a very diverse label that has a very diverse lineup of artists including Dan Curtin, Morgan Geist, Chris Grey, Paul Mac, The Cause, Ordinary Folk (Insync), Groove Tribe (Jay Denham), and Jamie Read.
