I'd have to echo the postings about Cup of Tea label - most of the
artists on it are very solid. But if you run across an album entitled
_Hijacked_ by a group called Marden HIll, snatch it up. Absolutely
fantabulous! Yeah, there are vocals, but they aren't overtly annoying,
and the whole album just grooves along. And the first song on it is
remixed by Ashley Beedle ... can't go wrong with pedigree like that.

In other related news, it looks like the buyout of Blockbuster Music by
Wherehouse Music is already paying dividends. While dropping in today to
pick up _Windowlicker_ (finally) I stumbled across their used CD bins.
United Future Organization, Septic Cuts, One and Two AD (with the classic
Irresistable Force take on August Leaves), Wagon Christ, Further Self
Evident Truths (as well as a whole lotta other Rising High/Moonshine
records) all for 2 bucks a pop! Not exactly the rarest of recordings,
but still not bad pickings for South Louisiana. I wonder if the
selection is this good throughout the US ...
