yes--the instrumentals of this album are very well-composed. symphonic,
defintiely. although i feel that a few of the vocal tracks could use some
help (but looking-glass men is killer on the dancefloor).

i think this is far more intelligent than black lung. speaking of, perhaps
i'll review that dark techno comp for this list, too.

i remember the first time i heard _render_. i thought it was the new
lassigue album (i suppose, technically, it was), released in early '97 (at
least that's what i was told). imagine my surprise when i found out it had
been recorded 3 years previous. i don't remember anything sounding that
good in '94, much less '95. :)
