just wanted to give a review of kool kieth's new lp. Dr. Doom, title First Come, First Served Listening to Kool Kieth now for the past 4-5 yrs. I've come to accept that Kool Kieth is the RDJ of hip-hop(rap) arena. Dr. Doom is yet another voyage to another side of Kool Kieth's persona. The first track titled, "Who Killed Dr. Octagon" kind of puts an end to any guess's that KK is going to be doing another Dr. O lp anytime soon. On First Come, First Served, KK explores the area's of love in tracks like, "Welfare Love", "You Live At Home With Your Mom", and "Bitch Gets No Love" to name a few. My conclusions of this album is good. Can I say that it's better then KK's "Sex Style" lp, Im not sure. I will say that this lp is not like Dr. O at all. I think over it's a good one to pick up though (the art work on the cover speaks for itself). If somehow KK was to read this I guess the only thing I would ask is when is he going to make a soul lp with him singing instead of rhyme'n. I could see it now, an all star band from the 60's-70's backing up KK in a Al Green-ish lp. thats it for now- m.a.s.
