chris de luca- unknown ep chocolate industries 004 after a quick listen i find this to be a very appealing 12. if you like funkstorung, this is obviously up your alley considering chris is one half of the duo. i find some of their 12's not too exciting, but this seems to take the usual funkstorung style and (especially on tracks 2/4) tweaks it a little further with sounds and effects not unlike the wu-tang remix and gives them a little more funk. so if you dig their m.a.s material or previous ci release, put this on your xmas list. cant beat the domestic (us) price. unfortunately the all too thin vinyl is still being used, but no plastic bag this time, a regular sleeve. cl btw- thanks to those at bent crayon who put up the brinkmann mp3. i made 2 almost full length cds out of it. the sound isnt the greatest, but definetely worth it. if you like the cologne minimal sound, check it out. i hope other artists/labels etc. follow the lead and continue to make these kinds of things available.
