this show can be summed up in a simple two word review: fucking dope. At least, that's what I've been saying all night. Green Galactic and all the people that helped to bring tonight together did a great job transforming the El Ray into an amazing evening. I showed up right as allen from plug research was finishing his set and pole went on. Adjectives fail to describe his set, it was spacey, it was dubby, it had idm elements, it was fucking dope. It was like a modernized version of Sabres Of Paradise's "Haunted Dancehall" remixed by irresistable force on codiene using plug research's equipment. yeah. Scion started out as spacey as pole, but slowly transformed itself into 4/4 dance music. One minute I'm head-bobbing to spacey sounds, and the next I find myself dancing to detroit in a blender! dope as fuck. scion was the last live act, and the DJ's blended in fron his set and really got the crowd jumping. I'm really looking foreward to tommorrow night when pole performs live on my show.
