I couldn't disagree more. I'm not familiar with most of the original
tracks but I think it's a great set of remixes. The MoM remix is
particularly good. It takes a muffled vocal loop, layers up a bit,
shoves on a large chunk of the original vocal before losing
the singing and letting rip with fast percussion and silly noises.
Then it calms down and the nice muffled vocal loop returns.

It seems to me that there are two ends of the spectrum when
it comes to remixing a track: (1) The originals crap so I shall take
nothing little or nothing from it and basically create a new track.
(2) The orignal is _so_ good that it would be disrespectful to alter
it in any major way so I shall just put a different beat on and maybe
make the intro a bit longer.

The overall feeling I get from this album is that the majority of
remixers have hit just the right mark for a project like this.
The remixers clearly wish to retain some elements of the
original work (to varying degrees) but there is no awe or reverence
that might prevent them from having some creative input. It comes
across as a series of collaborations more than mindless remixes and
consequently hangs together as an _album_ rather well.
