as far as record stores go, try gramaphone located at 2700 n clark. heavily into house/techno, but some of the more popular idm- warp, rephlex, etc. probably 90% vinyl as that is where almost all of the city's dj's shop. prices are not very good. for a more general selection try reckless near broadway + belmont. as for drinking, you would need to give some more details as to where you are staying. i would go to the nearest liquor store as i dont like crowds or paying too much for alcohol. cl > > > I'm going to be at a professionalism seminar in Chicago from the evening of > the 21st until late afternoon on the 23rd.
