Hey,

Completed my first record binge this weekend.... spent 4 hours going
through the cut-out bin at Gramaphone in Chicago, and pulled out 20
gems... which leads me to a couple of questions:

Blakdoctor doublepack is credited to Doc Martin and Mark Bell. Is this
the same Mark Bell from LFO? Fucking brilliant mad house tracks on this
release..... worth every penny.

YMC on Source Records... looks like an album, but who are they? I'm a
sucker for everything on that label, but more than often the labels are
missing credits (and an album title in this case). Any ideas?

Tom Middleton's production on A Man Called Adam's Duende #2 is awesome.
Buy it on sight... (on Other Records).

Bought lots of other stuff too..... which leads me to ask, WHY ISN'T
ANYONE TALKING ABOUT BASEMENT JAXX ON THIS LIST?

Got a promo of the album a couple of days ago, and the new single "Red
Alert" yesterday.... top stuff indeed! It's full-on house with IDM-esque
pruduction values.... lots of 8-bit filtering, noising crunchy sounds
and computer game sampling... if you're in a record store, sample "Red
Alert" for some wicked sounds.

Wow....

Aaron
