David: I've learned from experience that record companies rarely release records on the release date they initially plan for. This upcoming Model 500 album has been pushed back, for instance, many times, and will now come out in March 99. Juan Atkins' DJ mix on BML as well was pushed back many times. And when I interviewed him for next weeks' In The Mix show, he said essentially the same thing as what you wrote, but with different dates. In fact, when we talked BML was the only label releasing the Infiniti full length, not BML *and* Tresor. And then Tresor put it out first :) That's the way it always seems to end up working. It all gets pushed back in the end. Stay tuned next week for interviews with Danny Zelonky (aka Low Res aka Crank aka 1/2 of Trash Aesthetic aka collobarator with Atkins of some of the Model 500 material on this new LP) and Atkins too. Thanks. Andrew Electromagnetic Switch wrote: > When I talked to Atkins briefly 3 months ago, he'd said that he thought > both albums were coming out at the same time.
