As for the discog: there are four versions of the Spatial Specific cd: +8 cd/lp Virgin Canada #1 w/ different mixes Virgin Canada #2 w/ different mixes + 'Nocturnal Radio Mix' of 'Synaptic Response' all the cds should come with a plastic insert over the sleeve which enhances the op art and Virgin Canada put out a promo cd for Synaptic Response DPRO 1377 w/ 'Synaptic Response (Short Attention Span Mix)' 3.52 ' 'Synaptic Response (Nocturnal Radio Mix)' 5.16 'Synaptic Reversed' 4.22 'Synaptic Response (Spatial Specific Mix)' 6.08 they also have tracks on the two Interchill compilations, and one on Kudos' B Is For Broccoli. also an Incarnate flexi disc Decay (Eternal Opuscule #100) FPCON19 1996 A numbered, limited "flexi" disc with their 100th locked groove. As you play this one-sided flexi it will damage and decay, as per the title. The sleeve will also decay because it is made from photo-sensitive blueprint paper! Ashes to ashes, carbon to dust... also aka Zeuxis & The Painted Grapes Mystic Songs From The Sanitorium 12PCON14 UK pressing of their trip-hopish alter ego. "Blissed (7 Inch Mix)" dubby-back beat with melodic horn, organ, piano and roots reggae vocal sample. Very strange coming from a couple of suburban white kidz... "Dubble Dipped Mix" The Legion put on their King Tubby hats and dubbed their strange Caribbean track. Also "Don't Make Me Love You" funky Legion beat and harmonica that would mix with Little Axe & "Dub You". Also two locked grooves ("Eternal Opuscule #84 lounge-y loop of echoey drum machine and acoustic guitar & #85 Esplendor Geometrico goes funky). also they are involved with: Watershell The Initial Scroll EP Post Contemporary cat? 1996 Limited numbered edition w/ story insert. The Legion/Incarnate and three friends (one who is Watershell) put their great track "Calling Elan" on vinyl (which was previously on the Serenity Dub 3.1 compilation). This atmospheric Sabres-ish dub-groove features an off-time horn line. Also 2 of their specialty locked grooves (Eternal Opuscule #98 slow groovin' back beat & #99 steppers jungle at 45rpm) and 3 digi-dub/drum & bass-ish trax from Watershell (some of the best out of Canada). "Latch 22" produced by Incarnate; "Teller's Tale"; "Teller's Dub" Dead Dread-style remix by Incarnate. Is their new album "Floating in Shallow Water" out yet? Just picked >up the "Beyond the Borderless" ep today; really cool sounds on here (lyrics >too!), a little different from their "Spatial Specific" -ambient electronic >experimentation.
