got mine in the mail yesterday, thanks to pj. (okay, pj, you owe me $0.35 now.) i'll get the inflammatory bit out of the way: if i were either sean booth or rob brown, i would watch my back for fear that one of the funkstoerung guys was stalking me. i mean, C'MON - how much of that mix is Ae samples? let's see: the cello(esque) line from "keynell", the clattering percussion from one of the "cichlisuite" tracks, the pad at the end is on a track on _amber_... and that's just what i remember. these guys are a LITTLE too close for comfort, imo. also, i cannot tell the difference between the phoenicia and trapazoid mixes, and the only reason i can tell them apart from the funkstoerung mix is because they only tried to emulate Ae, and stopped before they sampled them. that being said, the Ae mix is great. :) i also find myself very much enjoying the freeform mix (only thing from him i heard that i liked) & the ko-wreck technique mix. i wish the squarepusher mix were longer, it's so nifty, and should i know nick fury? his is great, too. oh, yeah, i'm also disappointed because i got only one insert. * #### a disturbance in a system. #### laerm. @voicenet.com ##:# there's a song that tells you about the sounds/you hear in the night the animals crying because they're hungry/and the child crying at night because he's hungry/and lonely icq: 5562209
