Huh, I've never noticed a problem in the mixing on the Stacey Pullen CD. Maybe we're getting into a subjective debate. I've heard Stacey do sets ranging from adequate to among the best I've ever heard - he overshadowed Derrick May when they played here a few years back. Carl's moved the focus to live performances, and doesn't DJ nearly so much nowadays. Juan's primarily a producer, but he tends to have amazing programming/track selection skill. When it gets down to it, I'd rather listen to a DJ who fumbles a beat from time to time yet plays amazing tracks that a smooth/tricky as fuck technician playing homogenous tracks.
