I was wondering if any groups besides BoC have such sophisticated
sounding subliminal triggering in their music. I'm sorry if this has
already been discussed on here as I was not a member when MHTRTC was
first released, but I haven't seen this topic discussed in the past
couple months. For me
the sudden realization of words thrown in their music that I wasn't
previously aware of is half the fun of listening to the album again and
again. (The other half of course
being the psychedelic wow factor.) The other really interesting aspect
about the messaging is the fact that it seems as though only certain
people can distinguish it from the rest of the song. I had more then one
friend convinced I was going crazy when I would say, "listen! right
there! did you hear that!" and they still wouldn't know what the hell I
was talking about. It's also plain that plenty of people don't hear
anything beyond the music because they post reviews including comments
such as, "I don't know why they added that public service announcement at
the end of the album." I'm sure some people on here were wondering the
same thing, while others know exactly what I'm talking about. To get back
to my original point, I would love to hear more music with that sort
of production and any tips are appreciated.
