Having waited for so long for Arcon 2, yesterday I bought one of five copies from Reachin Records in Sydney, the only Sydney store to have got them at all. Then today of all things, my Modern Music order comes in! And although I'd cancelled the Arcon 2 on the 25th of Nov, it was sent on the 26th. However, I imagine a big backlog and the time difference between OZ and US explains this and in no way am I attempting to smear Modern Music. As yet, they're still (fairly) wonderful in my opinion. So does anyone want a copy of the Arcon 2 CD? It's brilliant dark drum'n'bass. A bit like Photek/Source Direct only more complex and interesting. Arcon 2 is Noel Ram aka Leon Mar (who remixed FSOL's We HAve Explosive) aka Oil (who recorded some brilliant dark trip hop on FSOL's label EBv). Very recommended. For people outside of Australia I'll trade (see below) and for people in Australia (which I'd prefer) I'll do either a trade or some agreed monetary thing.
