following greg clow's review on feedback monitor, i bought solar x
"little pretty automatic" (worm interface). the aphex twin influence is
obvious, but boy, is that good stuff. quirky 303 acid with old school
beats. it can't get any better.

that's the second release i'm buying from worm interface (the first
being jake mandell's excellent "parallel processes"). are they always
that good? the only thing i don't like about them is their fondness for
cardboard cd covers.

while i'm at it, i'd also like to mention that i dig the "emanated"
compilation quite a lot (although that's another cardboard cover case.)
i almost flipped over just _seeing_ it in a local record store (you
don't expect that kind of thing when you live around here) & bought it
right away. the lillianthal, o.s.t. & sybarite tracks are my favorite.
